Our dedicated staff is committed to providing your child with the best preschool experience possible.
All of the teachers at Stepping Stones are EEC-qualified and continually expand their knowledge of the preschool child and their development by attending workshops and taking additional college courses. The staff is all certified in emergency health procedures, first aid, and CPR.
Meet Them Here:
J.J. Hendricks
Director & 3-Day Lead Teacher
J.J.’s mind is like a spider web, she can’t do one thing without, accidentally, trying to do it all. An exuberant teacher, she is always trying to make learning fun and connected (like a spider web!) Your child will probably learn a few homemade songs this year, to enhance their learning. As a director, her goal is for families to feel a part of the Stepping Stones community. She currently lives in Danvers with her
husband and their four boys.
Monique Ribeiro
Everyday: Assistant & Extended Day Teacher
Monique is a master healer in her other role as a massage therapist. Here with us, she is the anchor of Stepping Stones. Holding down the fort all five days a week. She is loyal, hard working, down to earth and unflappable. (Even large amounts of glitter can’t stress her out.) She currently lives in Danvers with her husband and four kids.
Jaclyn Blanchette
2-Day Lead Teacher
“Planner” is practically Jaclyn’s middle name. There is no classroom theme or circle activity that she hasn’t planned and taught with precision. She literally colors our classroom with her creative eye. There is no task she can’t itemize and accomplish. She is creative, eager and diligent. Your children will probably learn a few new dance steps this year because of her. She currently lives in Danvers with her husband and two daughters.
Michelle Grossman
Wednesday Teacher & Substitute
Michelle is onto her second career as an early educator, after she mastered what it means to nurture and take care of patients as a respiratory therapist. She is finishing her second degree in early childhood. She loves bringing nature into the classroom and has quickly become an integral part of the Stepping Stones team. Michelle currently lives in Danvers with her husband and three children.
Jane Dembowski
“Mrs. D”
Monday Teacher & Substitute
Jane is starting her 15th year at Stepping Stones! She has a wealth of knowledge and history of the school. Two of her four grandchildren have graduated from here! She is the role model who we all want to grow up to be -- patient, kind, gentle and exodes love wherever she goes. We are all better people for having “Mrs. D” in our lives!”
